Get to know the host:

C. Victor Herbin III, Ph.D., is the co-host of “Taking it to the House” sports/political show on the Fieldhouse Sports Entertainment Network (FSEN) and draws from more than 20 years of proven leadership as a United States Army Officer.  He commanded at every level and served in a myriad of senior strategic, operational, and tactical leadership positions including the Department of the Army, the White House Communications Agency, and three combat tours in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. As the co-host of “Taking it to the House” Dr. Herbin provides unique insights on leadership in the world of sports to include organizational culture, team cohesion, organizational morale, followership, organizational arrogance and introduce leadership strategies that help maximize team success.  A former sports leadership blogger, Dr. Herbin now spends his free time as a featured leadership speaker and consultant for youth sports organizations and players in the Washington, DC; Maryland, and Virginia area.  He earned a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from Regent University, an M.A in Journalism with an emphasis in Strategic Communication from the University of Missouri, an M.A in Human Resources Management from Webster University, and a B.A in History and minor in Sociology from the University of Southern California.


Dr. Timothy Hoover, is the co-host of “Taking it to the House” sports show on the Fieldhouse Sports Entertainment Network (FSEN).  He studied physical therapy at the University of Texas, San Antonio, where he received his Masters in Physical Therapy in 2008, and Doctorate in 2013.  His command of the microphone and unabashed presence in the studio comes from over 25 years in the United States Air Force.  In his various military assignments around the world, and working along side medical and dental officers, he honed his love for sports medicine and desire to help those who can't help themselves.  He presently provides skilled physical therapy in San Antonio, Texas and provides physical therapy consultations in the home health setting.  Tim will tell you, he's a fan first.  As the co-host of “Taking it to the House”, he wants you to relate to him as a fan, with a medical/physical therapy background.  With the ability to provide medical insight, from a sports medicine perspective.  Unapologetically, he's a Laker fan, LA Dodger fan, and University of So Cal fan, but none the less a fan.  Tim invites you "Take it to the House" with him.
