Americas Trail Blazers (11 - 0 | 23 - 9) ⬆

Winners of 14 of their last 16 games, the Aztecs sit second in their district going into the final week of the season with an opportunity to clinch a tie of the District Title with a win.
Eastlake Falcons (10 - 1 | 28 - 7) ⬇
Previous Rank: #1
After securing the outright 1-6A District Title, the Falcons take their first loss of the season to an El Paso time with their loss to 1-6A District opponent Montwood.
Franklin Cougars (7 - 4 | 22 - 8) ⬆

Winners of their last 3 games, the Franklin Cougars are starting to get into playoff shape a just the right time. Following a victory against their Westside rival Coronado, the Cougars currently are tied for 2nd place in 1-6A and are looking like a playoff tested team at just the right time.
Chapin Huskies (8 - 1 | 23 - 8) ⬇
Previous Rank: #2
After seeing their 59-game District winning streak broken, the Huskies simple bounced back and picked up a huge District win verses El Paso High School. With one game left, the Huskies look to wrap up another season as District Champions, just not undefeated.
Burges Mustangs (7 - 2 | 20 - 11) ⬆
Previous Rank: #6
After putting together their first winning season since 2021-2022, the Mustangs are running. After breaking one of the longest District winning streaks here in the Borderland (they broke Chapin's 59-game District winning streak), Burges looks to finish of this season as the District running up and more importantly locking in a first round home playoff game.
Montwood Rams (6 - 5 | 23 - 10) ⬆
Previous Rank: #8
Picking up the split last week with a win over Pebble Hills (26 - 23) followed by a loss to then #3 Coronado (22 - 27), Montwood remains in the Top 10 of this weeks Power Rankings.
Bel Air Highlanders (7 - 4 | 24 - 7) ⬆
Previous Rank: #9
Following three (3) straight District wins, the Highlanders are positioning themselves to make some noise during postseason play. This will be Bel Airs first winning season since the 2022-23 season.
Andress Eagles (6 - 3 | 21 - 9) New This Week
Previous Rank: # --
One of the most dynamic teams here in the Borderland, Andress is starting to show the type of play that we all expected out of them at the beginning of the season. This team as the potential to make a long playoff if they can continue to play at a high pace on both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball.
Coronado Thunderbirds (7 - 4 | 18 - 10) ⬇
Previous Rank: #3
After two consecutive loss this week to Top 10 teams, the Thunderbirds have been brought back down to earth. Still tied for 2nd place in 1-6A, Coronado appears to be limping to the end of the season and potentially could finish as low as 4th place or even miss the playoffs if their loss in their final game of the season.
