District play is in full swing, and this week's rankings reflect key rivalry wins, road performances, and late-game execution.  Teams are evaluated based on recent results, strength of schedule, and overall consistency.

Eastlake Falcons (7 - 0 | 25 - 6)

Following another district win against Socorro (82 - 34), the Falcons remain in the Top Spot of this weeks Power Rankings.



Chapin Huskies (4 - 0 | 20 - 7)

With another week picking up two (2) district wins over then #9 El Paso (64 - 55) and Jefferson (90 - 23), the Huskies continue to be the top 5A team in the city and #2 in this weeks Power Rankings.


Coronado Thunderbirds (6 - 1 | 17 - 7)

With a solid win over then #10 Montwood (33 - 27), the Thunderbirds continue to rise to the occasion in 6A play and are our suprise team of the season.  They continue to hold down the #3 ranking in this weeks Power Rankings.


Americas Trail Blazers (7 - 0 | 19 - 9)

After pulling off the Overtime victory last week against then #7 Bel Air (60 - 54), the Trail Blazers remain undefeated in district play.  This week the team will remain in the #4 spot in the Power Rankings.


El Dorado Aztecs (6 - 1 | 17 - 8)

Bouncing back this week with two wins in district play against then #7 Bel Air (58 - 35) and Horizon (52 - 30), the Aztecs remain one of the top teams in the city and remain in the #5 spot in this weeks Power Rankings.


Burges Mustangs (4 - 1 | 17 - 10)

After a dominate showing last week in wins against Jefferson (88 - 46) and Canutillo (67 - 38), the Mustangs high scoring offense continues to collect victories here in the Borderland.  As such, they move up two (2) spots in this weeks Power Rankings.


Franklin Cougars (5 - 3 | 19 - 7)

For the second week in a row Franklin splits with a crushing loss to Eastwood (41 - 35) and a solid bounce back win vs. Socorro (70 - 33), the Cougars have loss some of the luster that they showed at the beginning of the season and have fallen one spot in this weeks Power Rankings.


Montwood Rams (4 - 4 | 21 - 9)                 

Previous Rank: #10

Picking up the split last week with a win over Pebble Hills (26 - 23) followed by a loss to then #3 Coronado (22 - 27), Montwood remains in the Top 10 of this weeks Power Rankings.


Bel Air Highlanders (4 - 4 | 20 - 7)

After two (2) losses last week to top 10 teams in #5 El Dorado (58 - 35) and #4 Americas (60 - 54), the Highlanders fall two (2) spots in this weeks Power Rankings.


Mountain View Lobos (5 - 0 | 17 - 7)         New This Week

After going 15 - 4 with a six (6) game win streak and wins last week over Ysleta (37 - 32) and Fabens (72 - 33), the Lobos have stormed their way into this weeks Power Rankings.
