EL PASO, TEXAS -- Through six (6) games of the season, Bel Air High School's Football team is 6 - 0.  This is the best start of a season for a Bel Air team since at least the late 1980's.  With no less than 15 starts being Juniors and below, Bel Air's future will continue to be bright for the forseeable future.  And with an undefeated feeder program, Eric Scogin and staff are on the brink of creating a program with long term success here in the Borderland.

The backbone of this program has been built around a trio of Juniors who have created a culture of success that goes all the way back to when Badlands AYF started.  5 years ago, the 12U Bandits won the first national championship in El Paso youth football history, lead by Pebble Hills' QB Gael Ochoa.  This sparked a flame in El Paso youth football that has given birth to one of the most talented group of football players in the Borderland with classes 2023 and 2024.  And Bel Air has the cream of the crop of that 2024 class.
