EL PASO, TEXAS -- Led by their seniors on offense -- Sam Chacon (27 carries, 178 rushing yards, 2 TDs) and Jacob Ledesma (11 carries, 80 yards, 2 TDs) -- Pebble HIlls High School (4 - 0, 2 - 0) was able to pull out the victory against El Dorado High School (2 - 2, 0 - 2) on Thursday evening at the SAC.  

Showing their versatility, Sparta was able to overcome an off evening by Junior QB Gael Ochoa (5 - 16 passing, 82 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT) and the passing game while leaning heavily on a stout defense.  The Spartans were able to mitigate the efforts of the Estrada brothers (Senior QB Quincy Estrade 9-17 passing for 106 yards, 1 TD, 55 yards rushing and 1 TD; Freshman RB Ryan Estrada 14 carries, 83 yards, 1 TD, 5 receptions 42 yards) to secure the win.

Defensively, Pebble Hills was led by Sophomore Dorian Jaramillo (11 total takcls, along with Seniors Ricky Gallegos (10 total tackls), Kole Pellerito (10 Total Tackles), Omar Salas (7 total tackles), Gretory Nelson (6 total tackles).  With a swarming committe defensive effort, the Spartans were able to mitigate the Aztecs offense and secure the victory.

With the victory, Pebble Hills moves to 4-0 on the season and remain the #1 ranked team in the latest BSR Power Rankings brought to you by EBH Fitness LLC.
