El Paso, TX:  On Saturday, 25 July 2020, The Borderplex Elite Combine took place and boy did it deliver on everything that it promised and more!  With over 100 student athletes from the region in attendance, this event allowed student athletes the ability to compete in a pro-style football combine to showcase their individual talents to college coaches nationwide.  There were 20+different high schools represented from 3 different states.  With over 25+ volunteers, this was definitely a citywide effort that brought together the efforts of many companies from around the Borderland.  Additionally, a group out of San Antonio, TX came down to help make this event a huge success.

Probably the biggest performance of the combine came from class of 2021 WR Sir Drennon of Americas High School who came out to the combine and ran a 4.38 second 40-yard dash.  A true display of speed that many don't expect to see here in the borderland.

With a great event in the books, they have already scheduled next years event for 24 July 2021.
